About Us

The Medical Biophysics Graduate Student Union (MBPGSU) consists of all graduate students at the Department of Medical Biophysics (MBP) at the University of Toronto. The diversity of research performed by the different disciplines (cell & molecular biology, cancer genomics, bioinformatics, biochemistry, medical physics & imaging, therapeutics) is a strong driving force behind the collaborative nature of our work. Given this, the researchers at the various institutes affiliated with MBP are well-placed to further biomedical research with a cross-disciplinary outlook.

The MBPGSU executive is a small group of MBP graduate students who organize academic, educational and social events throughout the year. This website – run by the us – aims to keep you updated on all the awesome (and worthwhile!) happenings at the department and UofT. Please stay in touch!
